About The Trust
The Government has appointed trustees to apply for an allocation of New Zealand Units in respect of the land underlying Licensed Crown Forest and distribute these to the iwi that has received this land as part of their Treaty settlement.
What We Do
The Forestry Emission Unit Trust is responsible for applying for and distributing to iwi, New Zealand Units that are available for the remaining 47 Crown forest licensed land that are subject to Treaty settlements.
